Bath Saracens are delighted to announce their new captain and vice-captain for the upcoming season.
Alex Reilly will take over from Ed Bell, who has led the Saracens admirably for the last two years. Alex has been a regular in the Saracens side since he joined in 2013, and was Bell’s vice-captain for the last year. Capable of playing most positions on the field, Alex will be leading from the front with his aggressive ball-carrying and solid tackling.
Second year winger Paddy Thomas will be vice-captain for the upcoming season. Paddy made an instant impact when he joined the Saracens last year. Quick-footed and not afraid to put his body on the line for the team, Paddy came on leaps and bounds last year and was rightly voted the team’s most improved player.
