The Bath Saracens end of year dinner for the 2018/19 season turned out be a great evening for all. Taking place once again in the Huntsman in Bath, guests were served a splendid 3 course meal and drinks from a private bar. Ed Bell delivered one of the longest captain’s speeches in recent years, coming in at an impressive 45 minutes. The 40 strong list of attendees included a healthy selection of current and ex players, wives and girlfriends, and a few honoured guests including our coaches and representatives from our sponsor Everything IT. The recipients for this years club awards are as follows:
- Players player – Owen Swabey
- Most improved player – Sam Crowder
- Captains award – Mark Boxall
- Clubman of the year – Patrick Thomas
Additionally, two ex players were appointed Life Vice Presidents of the club – Tony Fry (pictured in the photo above alongside president Hugh Sawyer) and Brian Oliver.
