Bath Saracens are delighted to announce Karuta Sportswear will be our on and off field kit supplier for the 2017-18 season. Karuta Sportswear are an independent Sportswear Brand, based in Weston-Super-Mare, that specialises in bespoke playing kits and team wear for all sports. A local company, with high quality kit at reasonable prices… It was a no brainer really.
It’s a bit of an unusual name for a sportswear company based in Weston. So what does it mean? Well, Karuta is a form of Japanese armour worn during the federal era. In their own words, “Athletes in all disciplines and sports must wear kit to compete and when they do so they enter into battle against an opponent or team. At Karuta the garments that we produce are durable, just like armour, but also stylish enabling our athletes to be confident when competing.”
In the next couple of weeks we will be releasing our range of off-field kit. These items will be available for current and ex-members through a brand new online shop, which will be accessible through our social media channels and website once released. Watch out for our 2017/18 kit release and some surprise limited edition items to celebrate our Platinum Anniversary.
